Twilight up your life with the Southern Cross Care Fringe

14 January 2019

Age is no barrier to enjoying the fun and excitement of the Adelaide Fringe, thanks to the Southern Cross Care Fringe.

Across four FREE Twilight Garden Parties, older Australians from Adelaide and regional SA can enjoy the goodies of Gluttony, and the gigantic characters of the Garden of Unearthly Delights.

It will combine the talented performers from the Southern Cross Care community with international performers from the Adelaide Fringe.

You’ll hear the roaring vocals of Largs Bay Vocalist Ken Willoughby, combined with English physical performer and actor, Able Mable. They’ll be complimented by a party atmosphere full of delicious food and exotic drinks.

From 22 February to 15 March, these parties will entertain the local communities of Largs Bay, Plympton, Myrtle Bank, and the country town of Goolwa for the first time.

Southern Cross Care Chief Executive Officer David Moran said the Southern Cross Care Fringe has gone from strength to strength.

“The Southern Cross Care Fringe events are also a fantastic opportunity for friends and family to come together in a fun and creative market-style gathering,” Mr Moran said.

The following Twilight Garden Parties will take place from 5pm to 8pm.

  • 22 February | The Philip Kennedy Centre, 477-479 Military Road Largs Bay SA 5016
  • 1 March | The Pines (John Martin House), 342 Marion Road North Plympton SA 5037
